Charles Klein lives and works in Brussels, Belgium

I was born in 1981 in Australia, right on the border between New South Wales and Victoria in the twin cities of Albury/Wodonga.
My father’s job meant we were “called” to move from one part of the country to another, each move taking us to a more distant and remote community.
In 1998 I participated in a one year student exchange program and spent a year in Belgium, there I enrolled in a photography course at the Academie de Beaux Arts in Wavre, Belgium.
After a brief time studying photography in Australia I returned to sunny Brussels to study photography at La Cambre, where I basically stayed until 2010. I then returned to Adelaide for 12 years, became a professional oboist, a doctor (in oboe performance) and a family man. I am now back in sunny Brussels about to become a professional train driver.
